Join Luther Strings' Musical Story Hour for stories, rhymes, games, and fun for kids ages 3-7 and their grown ups. This is a FREE event highlighting orchestral music experiences that families will love. Stay after for snacks and bubbles!

Reserve your tickets for a 2024 jazz-folk performance, presented by Luther Strings on Saturday, June 8th at 7:00pm. 

A jazz- and folk-infused string duo, Secret Oaks formed at Rocky Mountain Fiddle Camp in 2022. From the very first notes, it was like Caroline and Daniel had been playing together for years. The duo presents a fun and engaging show of original tunes steeped in tradition, and fresh arrangements of traditional favorites.


A native daughter of the genre-bending West Coast music scene, Caroline McCaskey is equally at home in the traditional, improvisational and classical music worlds. In demand as a teacher and performer throughout North America and author of the AltStrings Fiddle Method, she holds degrees in music composition and performance. Caroline is a fiddler for the dance bands Tartan Suite, Reel of Seven and Greenwich Mean Time. She is also the 2019 U.S. National Scottish Fiddle Champion and a two-time International Musical Saw Champion. Caroline is the creator of AltStringsAcademy.com, a learning community for amateur adult string players who are ready to build their technique, style, and musicianship skills.


Multi-style cellist Daniel Delaney is an improvisor, composer, singer-songwriter, and rhythm player. He has performed widely as a concerto soloist, band leader, recording artist, chamber musician, and clinician. As an arranger and recording artist, Daniel has performed on albums by BeachSlang (Polyvinyl), Elvira Nikolaisen (SONY), mewithoutYou (Tooth and Nail), Twin Sister (Domino), Sun Airway (Dead Oceans), and many others. He has served as cello and chamber music faculty for camps and universities across the country and is the creator of the Groove Cello Academy where cellists are finally learning the art of improvisation, rhythm play, and jamming

Deborah Solo is a professional singer-songwriter, music teacher, and fiction writer.

She is proudly part of the Denver-based indie-band, The Deborah Solo Trio. They feature guitar, cello, inventive percussion, keys, three-part vocal harmony, and lyrics that sink in. Solo feels lucky to get to collaborate with her incredible bandmates, Kari Clifton (cello & vox) and Chad Johnson (percussion, vox, bass, keys, recording, mixing, and mastering). 

Their new album, 1 a.m. Parade (2024), is out now on all streaming platforms.
