Danica Smith is a Violin Teaching Artist for all levels and ages.

Smith studied Violin Performance at the University of Denver, as well as the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. She has worked alongside Simon Fischer and Linda Wang, and has received coaching from Chauncey Patterson, Ioana Galu, members of the Belcea Quartet, the Chilingirian Quartet, the Takács Quartet, the Endellion Quartet, the American Quartet, the Pacifica Quartet, and the DaVinci Quartet.

At the Guildhall School, Smith performed in orchestral projects directed by Dominic Wheeler, Pavlo Beznosiuk, Alessandro Timossi, Alexander Janiczek, and Sir Simon Rattle.

Smith is also an alumna of the Eastern Music Festival, the Colorado College Music Festival, the National Repertory Orchestra, and the Montecito International Music Festival.

Additionally, as a lover of choral music, Smith occasionally has the pleasure of singing alongside the Evans Choir. In 2019 and 2020, Smith spent time in Elbląg, Poland and led English conversation classes for students of all ages.
