Description
A mid-tension string, the Rockabilly Blacks were designed to replace gut strings for slapping. They have a warmer, darker tone but a softer high end that produces a lot of volume. The synthetic core makes these strings feel and sound like gut strings, but without the expense and maintenance of them!
For those that don't play slap-style bass, the Rockabilly Blacks are also equally suited for jazz playing. Their pizz tone has great sustain and growl, without being too overbearing.
