Alan Chan

Alan Chan is a Luthier Assistant at Luther Strings.

A native of Louisville, Kentucky, Alan graduated with highest honors with a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education at the University of Louisville. Equally passionate about teaching and performing, he has been awarded fellowships to attend the Orchestral Institute at Texas Music Festival and the Chamber Academy at Wintergreen Music.

Alan currently serves as a Violin Performance and Pedagogy Teaching Assistant at the University of Colorado Boulder. He also currently serves as the conductor of the Cadenza Ensemble at El Sistema Colorado.
