Gavonne Goodwin is a violinist originally from Greeley, Colorado and now based in Denver. She recently received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Northern Colorado and enjoys spending time with her friends and family as well as her two dogs. She enjoys playing in chamber and orchestral groups as well as doing some solo playing.


Gavonne was part of the UNC symphony orchestra and UNC jazz spectrum studio orchestra who got the chance to play with Melissa Aldana and Wayne Bergeron. Her playing styles range from classical to contemporary to jazz and during her time at UNC, she played multiple student and modern compositions. She is always looking to play new music and continues to explore different styles. She also enjoys playing in musical theater and creating a more immersive experience for the audience. In her down time, Gavonne likes to play video games and is learning how to cook.
