Gavonne Goodwin
Gavonne Goodwin is the Manager at Luther Strings and is originally from Greeley, Colorado. She recently received her bachelor’s degree in violin performance from the University of Northern Colorado, and enjoys playing in chamber and orchestral groups as well as doing some solo playing.
She has a passion for playing in the pit for musical theatre productions as well as operatic performances. She started her musical pit performances in high school with her school's production of The Little Mermaid her junior year and Shrek the Musical her senior year. She has played in a number of university productions since, including Spring Awakening at Colorado State University, Rodgers and Hammerstein's production of Cinderella at the University of Northern Colorado, Tuck Everlasting at Colorado Christian University, and more.
Gavonne was part of the UNC symphony orchestra which had the opportunity to play Stravinsky's Rite of Spring, as well as being part of UNC jazz spectrum studio orchestra which allowed her to branch out of her normal playing style. She currently plays with the Symphony of the Rockies and and has had the opportunity to play for the Boulder Philharmonic. In her down time, Gavonne likes to play video games, enjoys creative writing, as well as spending time with her dog.
