Meaghan Salton is an experienced performer and cello teacher in the Denver area. She regularly performs for local events, and maintains active private studios as well. Meaghan has taught Suzuki group classes through Denver Talent Education, and led elementary orchestra in the Cleveland chapter of the National String Project. In 2013, she completed her Master of Music degree with a concentration in Suzuki cello pedagogy at the University of Denver’s Lamont School of Music, while studying with Richard Slavich and Carol Tarr. Meaghan also holds a Bachelor of Music in cello performance from Cleveland State University, studying with members of the world-renowned Cleveland Orchestra.

Meaghan is passionate about sharing her love of music, and believes that anyone can learn to play an instrument. She has taught students of all abilities from ages 3-80+. Her students regularly perform in recitals, competitions, youth orchestras and honors orchestras. Meaghan is registered with the Suzuki Association of the Americas in cello books 1-10, and teaches both Suzuki and traditional based lessons. Lessons can be tailored to each student’s individual goals, needs and learning styles.

In her free time, Meaghan enjoys playing chamber music and performing with her folk band Connect Four.
